Lytton S. Everett, age 93, of Swanton, Ohio, passed away peacefully in his home surrounded by his loving family, Sunday morning, October 17, 2010. He was born in Lytton, Ohio, to Samuel and Mattie (Myers) Everett on August 19, 1917. He married Grace Beaverson on September 22, 1940; they just recently celebrated their 70th wedding anniversary on September 22, 2010. Lytton worked for Champion Spark Plug for 37 years, retiring in 1982. On January 26, 1950 he became a member of the Swanton Masonic Lodge. He was also a member of the Lytton Zion United Church of Christ. Lytton loved to tinker around with anything he had out in his garage. His greatest joy in life was spending time with his family, especially watching his grandchildren play sports, he was a very devoted fan. He will be greatly missed by everyone.

Surviving is his loving wife of 70 years, Grace; children, Sam (Cheryl) Everett, Gary Everett, Allen Everett, Barbara Camp, and David (Diane) Everett; grandchildren, Susan (Mark) Lucas, Brian Camp, Eric Camp, Stephen Everett, Andrea Everett, Daniel Everett, and Ashley Everett; great-grandchildren, Nicole, Brad, and Garret Loeffler; sister, Gen Morris. Preceding him in death were his loving parents; grandchildren, Robert and Vincent Everett; sisters, Helen Lieska, and Pauline Poffenbeger; brothers, Harold and Howard Everett

Friends and family may visit Monday October 18, 2010 from 4 to 8 p.m. and from Noon to 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday, October, 19th at Weigel Funeral Home, 204 Chestnut in Swanton. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday, October 19th at 3:00 p.m. with Rev. Mary Burroughs officiating. Interment will follow at Dutch Ridge Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be given to Visiting Nurses & Hospice of Williams and Fulton Counties.
