Lynda N. Pifer, 66, of Blissfield, Michigan,

passed away Monday, November 16, 2009, at her residence after a lengthy illness.

Born March 28, 1943, in Metamora, Ohio, to the late Norbert and Betty Clendenin, Lynda was a kind and loving mother who devoted her life to her family.

Lynda is survived by her husband of 48 years, Richard; daughter, Paige; son, Jeff (Tammi); son, Dennis (Deborah); grandchildren, Colton, Denver, Blane, Alaina, Jack and Emma; and by her brothers, Chris and Kim (Julie); and her sister, Sandy (Dale) Slusarski.

A lover of all creatures, Lynda rescued many wild animals and would often be surrounded by a houseful of dogs, cats, and bunnies.

At Lynda’s request, there will be no services.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests any remembrances be made in Lynda’s honor to Hospice of Lenawee County, Michigan.
