Lindsey Clark

June 16, 1962 — May 29, 2013

Lindsey Clark, age 50, of Swanton, Ohio, passed away peacefully late Wednesday evening, May 29, 2013 at Hospice of Northwest Ohio in Perrysburg, following a courageous 2-year battle with cancer. She was born June 13, 1962 in Bicester Oxfordshire England to Ronald Alfred James Fox and Constance Joan (Briers). She met her loving husband, Philip, while he was stationed in England, and they married May 16, 1980.

Lindsey was a member of the Calvary Assembly of God. Her lifelong commitment to Christ was the source of her strength, steadfast throughout her battle and unwavering in the face of worsening news. She will be remembered for her wonderful sense of humor and for always having a smile on her face, even through the toughest of times. Lindsey was known for her ability to make everyone feel welcome and frequently opened her home to those in need. She enjoyed walks in the botanical gardens, crocheting, reading, and most of all, spoiling her grandchildren.

Lindsey was the most caring and best mum in the world. Left to cherish her memory are her loving husband of 33 years, Philip; mother, Constance Joan Keen; son, Philip Matthew (Brittany) Clark; daughters, Sarah Elizabeth (Stephen) McFadden, and Rebecca Leigh Clark; grandchildren, Maura Grace Clark, Addilene Ruby McFadden, and an unborn grandchild on the way; as well as her sister, Rona Ibbetson and brother, Ashley (Helen) Fox.

Lindsey was preceded in death by her father, Ronald.

A memorial service celebrating Lindsey’s life will be held Saturday, June 8th at 11:00 a.m. at Calvary Assembly of God, 1360 Conant St., Maumee, OH 43537, with Pastor Chad Gilligan officiating.

Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Northwest Ohio, 30000 E. River Rd., Perrysburg, OH 43551 or The American Cancer Society, 740 Commerce Dr., Ste. B, Perrysburg, OH 43551.
