Linda Sue Thomas, age 52, of Swanton, Ohio, passed away Tuesday afternoon, June 9, 2015 at University Hospitals of Cleveland. She was born September 12, 1962 in Toledo, Ohio to John and Ruth (Franklin) Williams. Linda graduated from Rice Lake High School, Rice Lake, Wisconsin in 1980, and later worked as a cook at the former Hungry Harold's Restaurant in Swanton. On May 22, 2010, she married her beloved husband, Todd Thomas.
Linda loved her family dearly and loved to cook for them. She made her mother's homemade noodles with perfection and also made the most delicious pies. You never went hungry at family gatherings.
Linda will be dearly missed by her husband, Todd of Swanton, OH; her children, Jennifer (Mike) Brandon, Jessica Morse and Madison Morse; stepchildren, Jory (Samantha) Thomas and Samantha Thomas; grandchildren, Dylan and Bella Brandon; her sisters, Debbie Williams of Aberdeen, SD, Kathy (Bob) Wojciechowski of Newport News, VA, and Pam Weber of Randolph, WI; as well as many loving nieces, nephews, cousins, and other relatives and friends.
Linda was preceded in death by her parents, John Williams and Ruth Franklin; brothers, John and Sam Williams; brother-in-law, Potsie Weber; and her grandparents, Cecil and Margaret Williams and Ralph and Margaret Franklin.
Visitation will be held Tuesday, June 30th from 6:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at the Weigel Funeral Home, 204 Chestnut St. in Swanton (419.826.2631), where a Memorial Service will begin at 7:30 p.m. with Rev. Donna Stutzman officiating.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
