Kevin Michael Gladieux, age 41, of Delta, Ohio, passed away unexpectedly of a sudden heart attack, Sunday evening, October 12, 2014 at his home. He was born April 8, 1973 in Toledo, Ohio, and was a 1992 graduate of Swanton High School. He met his loving wife, Melanie Mosher, when he worked as a cook at the Swanton Turnpike Plaza. They were married September 16, 2000.
Kevin worked at Scottdel for 15 years, and was currently employed at Con Agra in Archbold. Kevin was a huge Jeff Gordon, 49ers, Penn State Football, and Detroit Tigers fan. His hobbies included woodworking and painting ceramics. He loved spending time with his family, especially playing catch with his son, Blake, or kicking the soccer ball around with his daughter, Payton.
Kevin will be greatly missed by his beloved wife, Melanie; son, Blake Richard Gladieux; daughter, Payton Marie Gladieux; mother, Ina Marie Wilder; grandmother, Nola Wilder; mother-in-law, Debra Mosher; step mother-in-law, Karen Mosher; as well several aunts; uncles; and cousins.
Kevin was preceded in death by his grandfather, Otto Wilder; and father-in-law, Richard Mosher, Jr.
Visitation will be held Wednesday, October 15th from 2 to 8 p.m. at the Weigel Funeral Home in Swanton. Funeral services will be held Thursday, October 16th at 11:00 a.m. in the funeral home with Rev. Donna Stutzman officiating. Interment will follow at Swanton Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be directed to the family.
