Kevin Ellis, age 58, of Swanton, Ohio, passed away peacefully, Wednesday morning, January 12, 2011, surrounded by his family, at Hospice of Northwest Ohio in Toledo. He was born December 18, 1952 to James and Anna Jean (Dalton) Ellis. Kevin served in the United States Army and worked as a union carpenter throughout the years.

The two loves of Kevin's life were the martial arts and his beautiful daughter, Tasha.

Kevin is survived by Tasha; his mother, Anna Jean Ellis of FL; brothers, James (Jean) of MI., Jerry of FL., Dave (Judy) of Monclova, OH; sisters, Sherry (Ed) Fritz of TX, and Delilah (Ralph) Gibson of AR; along with many nieces and nephews.

Kevin was preceded in death by his father, James, and his brother, Donnie.

Friends may visit Sunday, January 16, 2011 from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the Weigel Funeral Home in Swanton, where services will immediately follow.
