Kelsey Burkheimer

Kelsey Burkheimer, age 72, passed away Wednesday, June 11, 2014 at Swanton Valley Care Center. He was born December 16, 1941 in Cleveland, Ohio, to Kelsey and Ethel Burkheimer who preceded him in death. Kelsey was raised in Whitehouse, Ohio and worked in construction.

He is survived by his daughters, Shelley Hudson, Lori Guerra and Jennifer, all of Toledo, OH; sons, Jeremy Gurney, Joshua and Jason of Iowa; sisters, Joanne Steinberg, Ethel McCain, Connie (Jerry) Rieger and Olive Lynn; and brothers, Leslie Burkheimer, Ron (Brenda) Burkheimer, John (Bicang) Nadack.

Besides his parents, Kelsey was preceded in death by his brothers, Bill, James and Edward Gower; Joyce Downey; and Leota Doty.

Friends and family may visit Friday, June 20th from 1 to 2 p.m. at the Weigel Funeral Home in Swanton. A memorial service will begin at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Donna Stutzman officiating. Interment will follow at Whitehouse Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
