Judy Irene Frederick, age 56, of Jasper, Michigan, passed away unexpectedly Saturday afternoon, September 12, 2009. She was born October 14, 1953 in Wauseon, Ohio to Glenn and Ruth (Ingram) Darm.

Judy worked several years as manager at the former Sterling Family Restaurant. She had a passion for cooking. She also enjoyed reading, yard work, and spending time on the computer. Most of all, she loved her family. She was a wonderful wife, mother and grandmother, who will be greatly missed. Patience was her greatest virtue.

She is survived by her loving husband, Ted Betz; children, Brian Frederick of Jasper, MI, Jeremy Frederick of Arizona and Amber (Adam) Hallett of Blissfield, MI; 5 grandchildren, Delaney Frederick, Zackary, Kiana and Kailee Frederick, and Anna Hallett; sister, Virginia Withrow, and brother, Melvin (Diane) Darm.

Judy was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Robert, and sister, Karen Darm.

Friends and family may visit Wednesday, September 16th from 2 to 8 p.m. at the Weigel Funeral Home, 413 E. Main St. in Metamora, Ohio (419-644-3601). Funeral services will be held Thursday, September 17th at 11:00 a.m. in the funeral home, with Rev. Donna Stutzman officiating. Interment will follow at Hunt Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be made to a charity of the donor’s choice.
