Juan Garza, Jr., age 30, of Swanton, Ohio, passed away unexpectedly due to natural causes, Tuesday morning, May 25, 2010, at The Toledo Hospital. He was born March 29, 1980, in Carrizo Springs, Texas, to Juan, Sr. and Carolina (Hernandez) Garza. He graduated from Swanton High School in 1999 and was currently taking college courses online through The University of Phoenix.

Juan was very family oriented and enjoyed entertaining his nieces and nephew. His son, Austin, was the love of his life, and the two of them spent many wonderful times together; their favorite pastimes were playing with Leggos and video games.

Besides his parents and son, Austin Chase, Juan is survived by his sisters, Gina H. Garza and Jeanette A. (Zachary M.) Badas; nephew, Kenneth A Mitchell; nieces, Adrianna J. Garza and Ava Lynn Badas; grandmothers, Emma B. Garza and Maria Hernandez; as well as many loving aunts, uncles, and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his grandfathers, Dario Hernandez and Pedro Garza; aunt, Maria Rosa Garza; uncle, Pedro Garza, Jr.; and cousins, Maria Hernandez and Alex Garza.

Family and friends may visit Friday, May 28th , from 2 to 8 p.m. at the Weigel Funeral Home, 204 Chestnut St. in Swanton. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, May 29th , at 11:00 a.m. in the funeral home with Rev. Donna Stutzman officiating. Interment will follow at Sharples Cemetery.
