John Vernon Seel

John Vernon Seel, age 55, of Swanton, Ohio passed unexpectedly in his sleep, Wednesday morning, June 25, 2014. He was born January 8, 1959, in Bowling Green, Ohio to Vernon and Nettie (Brashear) Seel, and a 1978 graduate of Swanton High School.

He worked in the construction field and built some spectacular homes during his career. When he wasn't building homes, you could find him fishing, drawing, working in his garden and taking trips up North.

He is survived by his children, Dylan Seel and Danielle Seel; the mother of his children, Amy Seel; brothers, James (Margie), Charles (Telly) and Roger (Lauren) Seel; sisters, Connie (John) Green, Patricia Frye, Vickie Seel and Laura (James) Tumey; as well as several nieces and nephews.

John was preceded in death by his parents.

Family and friends may visit Saturday, June 28th from 1 to 2 p.m. at the Weigel Funeral Home in Swanton, where a joint Memorial Service for John and his dad, Vernon Seel, who passed away January 9, 2012, will begin at 2:00 p.m., with Rev. Donna Stutzman officiating. Interment will be private.

Memorial contributions may be directed to a charity of the donors choice.
