John H. Miller, Sr.

John H. Miller, Sr., age 79, of Leesburg, Florida and formerly of Toledo, Ohio was born in Toledo, Ohio to John M. Miller and Betty Geoffrion (Miller), passed away in his home in Leesburg, Florida on March 5, 2025 surrounded by his loving family.

John was proud to serve his country in the Marines, during the Vietnam war. John was an avid hunter, bowler, softball player and a Michigan Wolverine fan. John loved being in the kitchen making new recipes for family and friends.

John is survived by his wife of 18 years, Janice Miller; children, John, Jr. (Gayle), Joseph (Donna), Daniel (Sandy), Jerry (Taronda) and stepdaughters, Lisa Hein (Rick) and Linda Hein (Steve); sisters, Madonna Aliemenious, Betty Snyder and Regina Lewallen; brothers, Michael (Peggy) and Gilbert (Mary). Johns legacy will shine through his 15 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.

John was preceded in death by his first wife, Diana Schwartz; grandson, Daniel, Jr.; brothers, Robert and Ricky; sister, Mary Mitchell and stepdaughter, Kimberly Barden.

A private graveside service will be held at a later date.
