John Houser

John Houser, age 59, of Swanton, Ohio, passed away Saturday evening, November 15, 2014, at Flower Hospital in Sylvania, with his daughters at his bedside. He was born May 21, 1955 in Toledo, Ohio, to Theodore and Ruby (Sanders) Houser. John married Pamela Ann Wisebaker on April 6, 1974. Together they raised two daughters, Shannon and Jammie. Pamela preceded him in death on March 31, 2010.

John worked in the construction trade. He was an avid outdoorsman who loved fishing and hunting, and was a member of the Winameg Sportsmen's Club.

John is survived by his daugthers, Shannon (Dana) Woods and Jammie (Mark) Cassoni; grandchildren, Dylan and Cain Leathers and Ethan and Olivia Cassoni; great-grandson, Ayden Leathers; siblings, Pat Mason and Robert (Debbie) Houser; and brother-in-law, Mark Wisebaker.

Besides his wife, Pamela, John was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Ralph Houser; and mother-in-law, Alice Wisebaker.

In keeping with John's wishes, he will be cremated. Graveside services will be held at a later date at Sharples Cemetery.
