Joanne Elizabeth Galusha

Joanne Elizabeth Galusha, age 84, of Swanton, Ohio, peacefully passed away Wednesday morning, May 4, 2022 at Otterbein of Monclova. She was born November 12, 1937 in Waterloo, New York to Harold and Laura (Reidy) Trickler. Joanne was married to Larry E. Galusha for 64 years before he passed away on November 14, 2021.

Joanne enjoyed crocheting and there was always a jigsaw puzzle to be solved in her home.  Most of all she loved taking care of her family.

Joanne is survived by her children, Bennie Galusha, Phillip (Jill) Galusha and Joyce Vermilyea; sisters, Sandra Miller, Harriet (Hank) Wilson and Julie Smith; 6 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.

Besides her beloved husband, Joanne was preceded in death by her parents and daughter Laura Jean Galusha in 1997. Also preceding her were her sisters, Barbara Soler, Janice DeJohn and Gladys Range; brothers, Sonny Trickler, Herbie Trickler and Dale Trickler.

A Celebration of Life for Joanne will be held on Friday, My 20th, 2022 at the Swanton American Legion at 11:00 am. A Graveside Service will follow at East Swanton Cemetery at 1:30 pm for both Larry and Joanne Galusha.
