Lyons, Ohio

Jeffery Allen Griffeth, age 48, of North Pole, Alaska, died July 20, 2015. He was born August 11, 1966 in Morenci, Michigan, the son of Carroll and Shirley Pokornik) Griffeth. He was married to Loda Calfey Griffeth, and she survives. Besides his parents, also surviving are two daughters, Morgan and Riley; sister, Carly Kay Mattimore , her husband, Matt and a niece, Rebecca Mattimore; brother, Kurt Griffeth; aunts, Barbara Pokornik, Gloria Mae Heatherly and Audria Tebeau; and numerous cousins and friends. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Frank and Bessie Pokornik.

Jeff attended Evergreen High School, graduating in 1984. He was a U.S. Army Veteran during Desert Storm, where he served on a surveillance aircraft. He was an avid Detroit Tigers and Pittsburgh Steelers fan.

Family and friends may visit Saturday, August 29th from 12:00 (Noon) to 2:00 p.m. at the Weigel Funeral Home in Metamora, where a Memorial Service will begin at 2:00 p.m., with Fr. Michael Brown officiating. Interment, with Military Rites, will follow at Our Lady of Fatima Cemetery in Lyons, Ohio.

Visitation: Saturday, August 29th from 12:00 (Noon) to 2:00 pm at the Weigel Funeral Home in Metamora

Memorial Service: Saturday, August 29th at 2:00 pm in the Funeral Home

Interment: Our Lady of Fatima Cemtery
