Jeanette Ann Vance

Jeanette Ann Vance, age 66, passed away peacefully at Hospice of Northwest Ohio in Perrysburg. surrounded by her loving family on Friday, July 25, 2014. She was born September 6, 1947 in Toledo, Ohio, to the late Robert and Frances (Hudik) Wertz. She married Steve Vance on November 5, 1966 in Metamora, Ohio. Jeanette worked for the Pilliod Cabinet Company as an Import Specialist, where she was known to walk to work every day. She then went to Progressive Furniture, retiring in 2012.

Jeanette was very family oriented and loved to spend time with her children and grandchildren. She loved to go to garage sales, where she would find unique gifts for everyone. Jeanette also enjoyed gardening, planting flowers and yoga.

She will be greatly missed by her loving husband, Steve; daughter, Stephanie (Eric) Johnson; son, Tony (Alesha Davis) Vance; grandchildren, Landon, Brooke, Livie, E.J., T.J., Alex, and Abby; brother, Bob (Robin) Wertz; Uncle Bob Hudik; many cousins, nieces and nephews; and special feline friend, Tinker.

Family and friends may visit Monday, July 28th from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the Weigel Funeral Home, 204 Chestnut St. in Swanton (419.826.2631), where a memorial service will held at 7:00 p.m. with Pastor J.T. Bean officiating.

Memorial contributions many be made to Hospice of Northwest Ohio.
