Jean DeBacker

Jean DeBacker, widow of Florent DeBacker passed away Saturday morning, April 19, 2014 at the age of 89. She was born in SouthCerney, Glostershire, England. She met and married Florent who was serving in the US Army in World War II in 1944. He preceded her in death on December 10, 2013.

She spent her adult life as a farm wife working and living in Fulton County, Ohio, recently in Metamora.

She leaves a daughter, Abrigail (Roger) Beavers and a son, Roger (Lois) DeBacker. She has four grandchildren, Eric (Dee) Beavers, Brent DeBacker, Brian (Kristi) DeBacker, and Bridget (Mark) Raab. She also has 7 great-grandchildren.

There will be no public visitation. A private graveside service will be held at Lyons Cemetery. Please do not send flowers. Donations may be made to Metamora United Methodist Church or the charity of your choosing.
