Jason Dean Lee

Jason Dean Lee of Swanton, Ohio passed away suddenly at his home on April 24, 2023. He was born in Toledo, Ohio on August 28, 1968. He was son of the late Herman Dewey Lee and Carley Jo (Jarvis) Lee.

Anyone that knew Jason, loved him. He was truly one of a kind. He could fill a room with laughter and never met a stranger. One of Jason's greatest passions was playing the guitar. He liked to relive his memories when he was in his band "Dreamer" in his younger days. He loved getting together with his buddy Cole Doren for jam sessions. Another one of his passions was football. He loved his Minnesota Vikings and Ohio State Buckeyes. He enjoyed watching the games with his lifelong friend Jeff Doren and his nephew, Terry Thomas. Even though Jason never had any children of his own, he loved them and the elderly. He would have both giggling and chuckling. Jason always had a silly word or nickname for most everyone. He was just a humorous, silly guy and everyone loved him.

Jason was preceded in death by his father, Herman Dewey Lee and sister Regina Fay Lee.

He is survived by his mother, Carley Jo Lee, sister Peggy (Mark) Ruetz, brother Dewey (Mary) Scott Lee, nieces Aaryn Currier, Karley (Jake) Smith, Tracy (Daniel) Osborne, Amanda (Greg) Estes, great niece Hannah (Will), great nephew Noah, and great great nieces Evelynn and Kendall, and great great nephew Kayden.

Jason was loved by so many and will be so deeply missed. All that knew him understand. When I say that he will even have the Lord chuckling in Heaven and as Jason would say, "See ya all later, I got bigger fish to fry." RIP, Mr. Cool Macho.

Visitation for Jason will be held on Sunday, April 30th from 12:00 noon to 5:00 pm at Weigel Funeral Home in Swanton. Immediately following the visitation a Celebration of Life with be held at E.J. Ritter Event Hall, 124 N. Main St. Swanton, Ohio. Funeral Services will begin on Monday, May 1st at the funeral home, with Rev. Terry Brock officiating. Interment will follow at East Swanton Cemetery.
