James A. Wolfram, age 76, of Swanton, Ohio, passed away peacefully, Tuesday morning, September 15, 2009, at St. Luke’s Hospital. He was born February 24, 1933 to Edward P., Sr. and Mabel Wolfram.

Jim was a member of St. Richard’s Catholic Parish and Knights of Columbus. Jim was a devoted, husband, father and grandfather.

He is survived by his loving wife of 47 years, Susan; children, Laurie, Lynette (Marty) Hoffman, Roger, and Tom (Sue) Wolfram; 3 grandchildren, Tony and Joshua Hoffman, and Olivia Wolfram; brothers, Edward, Jr., John (Sandy), and Paul (Carole) Wolfram.

Friends and family may visit Friday, September 18th from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at the Weigel Funeral Home in Swanton, where the Rosary will be recited at 7:30 p.m.. A Mass of Resurrection will be held at St. Richard Catholic Church on Saturday, September 19th at 10:30 a.m., where Jim’s body will lie in state one hour prior. Fr. Daniel J. Zak will officiate. Interment will follow at St. Richard’s Cemetery.

Those wishing to give memorials, in lieu of flowers, are asked to consider St. Vincent DePaul Society, the Swanton Rescue Unit or Hospice of Northwest Ohio.
