James William Lumbrezer Jr.

James William Lumbrezer Jr., age 67, of Metamora, Ohio, passed away on Wednesday, September 27, 2023 at the University of Michigan Hospital. He was born February 2, 1956 to James and Faye (Lange) Lumbrezer in Toledo, Ohio. He went on to marry the love of his life, Danette Dee (Fry) Lumbrezer on July 14, 1979.

James was a skilled fabricator and welder for various companies, and he also made time for several hobbies he pursued. From riding motorcycles to fishing to tinkering with and building model planes and cars, he kept busy. James even played guitar when he was a "youngin." He was also a big football fan.

James is survived by his wife of 44 years, Dee; daughter, Allyson (Josh) Vance; parents, James and Faye Lumbrezer; sisters, Becky Finfera and Margie (Mark) Weekly; brother, Mike Lumbrezer; grandkids, Brooklyn, Autumn and Joshua; and many Aunts, Uncles, Nephews, Nieces and cousins.

Visitation will be held on Monday, October 9, 2023 from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at the Weigel Funeral Home in Metamora, with a memorial service immediately following at 12:00 (Noon), with Pastor Maryann Reimund officiating. Interment will follow at Amboy Township Cemetery.
