Henry Joseph Weott, age 77, joined the Lord he served his entire life on June 2, 2011 peacefully. Henry spent most of his life as a well-known citizen of Whitehouse and Swanton. Henry was a faithful member of St. Richard Catholic Parish of Swanton, as well as St. Mary’s Catholic Parish of Assumption. Henry was a fourth degree Knight of The Knights of Columbus-Sacred Heart Chapter 2850, Eucharist minister, member of the Holland Jaycees.

Henry spent a lot of time volunteering in just about every way he could, he took communion to the shut ins, Fulton County Fair, Habitat for Humanity, Strawberry Festival, Delta Chicken Festival, just to name a few. Henry retired from Toledo Express Airport Restaurant after forty years as a custodian and dishwasher. Of course one job wasn’t enough so Henry worked part time at Dolly and Joe’s restaurant for several years in the evening.

Henry was a very humble and religious man who enjoyed life with a willingness to help others in any way he could. It is the selfless acts that we will remember forever. After Henry’s dad passed away he took the responsibility of taking care of his mother, then his Aunt Theresa.

Henry was the last to carry on the Weott name and will be truly missed. He is survived by nieces and nephews of Toledo as well some of his closest friends The McCartney family, The Caron Family, and many, many Friends.

Henry was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Emma Weott; sister, Dorothy Akeman; and niece, Dorothy Barker.
