Interment with Military Rites: St. Mary's Cemetery

Henry Joseph Garcia, age 87, was born in Lake Park, Iowa in Dickenson County and raised in his home of record, Metamora, Ohio in Fulton County where he enlisted in the US Navy serving in WWII, and was Honorably discharged. He later resided and worked in Adrian, Michigan.

Henry passed away in Dwayne L. Waters Health Center in Jackson, Michigan.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Anna (Hrasko) Garcia; daughter, Barbara; son, Henry; sister, Theresa; and brother, Louis.

He leaves behind daughters, Judy Ann, Linda Eileen, Dianne Kay, Marilyn Sue, Marcia Jillene, Lisa Annette, and Trina Lynn; his sons, Ronald Louis, David Harold, and Kenneth James; along with their spouses and significant others; as well as many grandchildren; great grandchildren; sister, Delores Moore; Uncle, Thacher Garcia; many Garcia cousins; nieces; and nephews; and special cousin, Frederick S. Garcia.

Visitation will be held Monday, September 16th from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at Holy Trinity Catholic Church at Assumption, where a Mass of Resurrection will begin at 11:00 a.m. Interment, with Military Rites, will follow at St. Mary’s Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Holy Trinity Catholic Church.
