Helen Marie Repka, age 89, of Swanton, Ohio, entered into eternal rest Wednesday morning, July 16, 2008, in her home. She was born April 25, 1919 in Blissfield, Michigan to Joe and Mary (Valasek) Ricica. She married Frank Repka, and he survives.

Helen was a homemaker and member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Assumption and Perpetual Member of its Altar & Rosary Society. She was a life- member of the St. Anthony Society and member of Milbury Czech Slovak Club. Helen was devoted to her family, loved her Czech heritage, and had many artistic abilities. She was always happiest when she was giving to others.

Helen is survived by her husband of 67 years, Frank; children, Helen Blanchong, deceased (Dave), Sister Fran Repka, RSM, Lil LaCrosse (Larry), Frank Repka (Peggy), Marie Clemens (Charles), Rosie Case (Mel), Joe Repka (Andrea) and Patricia Repka (Bob, deceased); sisters, Rose Repka, Fran Zilke, Marti Kinsley, Viola Hutchinson, Anna Ricica-Fust, deceased ; 26 grandchildren and 33 great-grandchildren.

Friends and family may visit Saturday, July 19th from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. at Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Assumption, where a Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 11:00 a.m. Fr. Ron Schock will officiate. Interment will follow at St. Mary’s Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Holy Trinity Church or Hospice of Northwest Ohio.
