Heidi Melinda (Wymer) Walters, 50, of Swanton, Ohio gained her wings on April 26, 2023 after a short battle with cancer.
Heidi was born in Toledo, Ohio on February 12, 1973 to parents Chuck and Brenda (Ball) Wymer. She attended Liberty Center High School, graduating in 1992. Furthering her studies, she obtained an associate’s degree at Northwest State Community College. She later started and ran a successful business with her husband; TJ.
Heidi loved her friends and family fiercely. She was everyone’s biggest supporter, cheerleader, and emotional support person. She made a mark on every life that crossed her path, making sure every person in her home felt her generosity. Heidi was kind, creative, always reliable, and incredibly smart. Among all her other great qualities, she was known as the family’s greatest gift giver, making every birthday and holiday special.
Kids were Heidi’s weakness, she spent her free time making sure all of her kids, nieces and nephews, grandkids, and great-nieces and nephew knew how much she loved them. She was excitedly awaiting the arrival of her unborn grandson. She spent many days on the family farm with her loved ones and favorite canine companion; Leo.
Heidi was preceded in death by her grandparents George and Roberta Ball, Jane and Al Wymer, and father-in-law Tommie Walters.
She is survived by her parents Charles and Brenda Wymer; mother-in-law Letha Walters; loving husband of almost 30 years, Tom Walters Jr.; children, Reid (Amanda) Walters and Madison (Roman) Walters; grandchildren, Evalena and unborn Colton Walters; sister Tracy (Todd) Cramer; brother Craig (Jennifer) Wymer; sisters-in-law Michelle (Rob) Height and Shannon Walters; nieces and nephews Bailey (Brett) Zedlitz, Sydney (Trever) Miller, Ryan (Marisa) Wymer, Timmy (Kaitlyn) Wymer; Sabryn (Jonny) Height, Sam Cramer, Joey Wymer, Emma Wymer, and Baylee Twigg; and great-nieces and nephew Amelia, Bexley, Rhett, and Blair.
A memorial service commemorating Heidi’s life will be held on Saturday, May 13 at 11:00 AM at the Swanton Church of the Nazarene located at 315 W. Airport Hwy, Swanton, OH 43558.
