Harvey G. Beavers, age 95, went home to meet his Savior and his beloved Rosezella, Sunday morning, January 10, 2010. Harvey has been a member of the Heritage Church of God for many years. He was a long time resident of Hill Avenue, residing at the Swanton Health Care & Retirement Center for the last two years. For forty-eight years, Harvey sold straw and raised a magnificent garden that he shared with all he knew. He retired from Kaiser Jeep in 1974.

His wife of 63 years, Rosezella, preceded him in death. He is survived by his four sons, Raymond of Urbana, OH, Harvey L. of Henderson, NV, Roger (Abrigail) of North Las Vegas, Thomas (Ruthie) of Monroe, MI; daughter, Lois (Roger) DeBacker of Lyons, OH; 14 grandchildren, and many great-grandchildren have also enriched his life.

Friends and family may visit Friday, January 15th from 2 to 8 p.m. at the Heritage Church of God, 3520 Strayer Road, Maumee, OH, where services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, with Rev. Robert Fry officiating. Burial will follow in South Swanton Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the church building fund.
