Hal Michael Langenderfer, age 61, of Delta, Ohio, passed away Sunday, August 25, 2013 at Ebeid Hospice in Sylvania. He was born January 4, 1952 in Toledo, Ohio to Harold “Skip” and Mabel (Knight) Langenderfer. He was a 1970 graduate of Evergreen High School. Hal was a life-long truck driver and worked the last 15 years at UPS.
Hal had a great love for horses and trail riding. He was past president of the Ohio Horsemans Council, Fulton County Chapter. Hal was an avid movie watcher and loved airplanes.
He leaves to cherish his memory his children, Erin Langenderfer, Jessica Leigh (Jeremy) Howard, and Lucas Steven Langenderfer; grandchildren, Hallie, Carter, Dustin, and Saige; sisters, Becky (James) Franklin and Polly (William) Gombash; special friend, Barb VanEtten; and nieces and nephew, Missy Pfann, and Liz and Jacob Gombash.
He is preceded in death by his parents and son, Michael Anthony Langenderfer.
Visitation will be held Wednesday, August 28th from 2 to 7 pm at the Weigel Funeral Home, 204 Chestnut St. in Swanton, where a Memorial Service will be held at 7:00 pm., with Pastor Robert Fry officiating. Interment will be at a later date at Wolfinger Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be directed to Ebeid Hospice.
