Gerald William (Jerry) Witt

Gerald William (Jerry) Witt, age 64, of Lyons Ohio, passed away at his home on Wednesday, May 11, 2022. Jerry was born on October 16, 1957, in Adrian, Michigan to William Gerald Witt and Donna May Ricica. Jerry worked as an auto mechanic for many years.

Jerry took a lot of pride being an auto mechanic and enjoyed helping people. He was a former member of the Centurian Motorcycle Club. When Jerry wasn’t fixing cars, he looked forward to relaxing and fishing. He loved being around people, listening to their stories and telling stories as well.

Jerry will be missed by his daughter, Erika Witt; father, William (Ann) Witt; brother, Phillip Witt and sister, Brenda Witt.

Jerry is preceded in death by his mother, Donna Ricica; son, Gerald (JJ) Witt, Jr. and former wife, Susan Witt.

There will be a Celebration of Life for Jerry on Saturday, June 4th, from 10:30 am to 1:00 pm at Catholic War Veterans Post St. Mary's Post 306 (Assumption), 14124 OH-64, Metamora, Ohio 43540.
