Georgia “Jo” Harger, age 64, of Swanton, Ohio, passed away peacefully in her home, Saturday afternoon, May 1, 2010, surrounded by her loving family. She was born February 12, 1946 in Toledo, Ohio to William and Blanche (Lunce) Walters. She was a member of the Delta Eagles and American Legion Ladies Auxiliary. She loved making arts and crafts. Jo was a loving and devoted mom, grandma, and friend. She will be greatly missed.

Left to cherish her memory is her daughter, Jody (John) Phillips; grandchildren, Kelli Jo Phillips, John Phillips Jr., Amber Phillips, Dustin Galpal, and Amanda (Steven) Nicks; great-granddaughters, Sophie and Emma; siblings, Verda (Lassiter) Wheating, Tom (Letha) Walters, Marie (Tom) Meyers, and Barb (Paul) Bacon; sister-in-law, Marty Walters; as well as Jo’s special friend, Darrin.

Jo was preceded in death by her parents and brothers, Clayton Lunce and Bill Walters.

A memorial gathering will be held at Jo’s residence on Saturday, May 8th at 2:00 p.m.
