Genevieve “Gen” Everett Morris, age 89, died in her Asheville, North Carolina home, Thursday, April 21, 2011. She was born in Lytton, Ohio, to Samuel and Mattie (Myers) Everett on October 28, 1921. She married Robert Morris and he preceded her in death on December 29, 1990.

Gen is survived by her sister-in-law, Grace Everett; 1 niece; and 4 nephews.

Besides her husband, Robert, Gen was preceded in death by her parents; sisters, Helen Lieska and Pauline Poffenbeger; and brothers, Harold, Howard, and Lytton Everett.

Graveside services will be held Saturday, May 14th at 3:00 p.m. at Dutch Ridge Cemetery with Rev. Mary Burroughs officiating.
