Gayanne B. Ford

Gayanne B. Ford, age 82, of Waterville, Ohio, passed away Wednesday morning, November 21, 2018 at Hospice of Northwest Ohio in Toledo, following a recent stroke. Gayanne was born December 31, 1935 in Champaign, Illinois to Charles and Margaret (Custer) Beckett. 

Gayanne worked her entire life in the Medical field of Dentistry. She started out working in the field, and later as an instructor. She served as past president of the Ohio State Dental Association and Toledo Dental Society.  Gayanne loved traveling throughout the United States and Canada, as well as abroad.  In her spare time, she loved flower and vegetable gardening, sewing, quilting, and spending time with her family, whom she adored.

Gayanne will be greatly missed by her children, Cindy Ford, Kevin (Chris) Ford, Rhonda (John) Gross; grandchildren, Desiree (Chris), Kyle (Tiffany), Bryan (Kayla), Emily (Pete), Kelsey, Trever, Matthew (Lyndzie) and Mark (Autumn); 11 great-grandchildren; as well as her siblings, Scott, Mark, Suellyn, Joyce, Patricia and Carolyn; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Roger L. Ford; son, Scott A. Ford and her siblings, Charles and Darlya.

Visitation will be held Sunday, November 25th from 3 to 7 p.m. at the Weigel Funeral Home in Swanton.  Funeral services will be held Monday, November 26th at 11:00 a.m. in the funeral home.  Interment will follow at Amboy Township Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Arthritis Foundation ~ Ohio Chapter or Hospice of Northwest Ohio.
