Gary P. Gross

Gary Paul Gross, age 61 of Manitou Beach, Michigan, died Friday, February 24, 2012. Gary was a member of St. Mary on the Lake Parish. He was the husband of Pauline for 38 years and father of two. They spent many happy days with family and friends on Round Lake. Gary worked for the Andersons for 35 years as a hardware buyer.

Gary is survived by his wife, Pauline; children, Bradly (Julie) Gross and Jennifer (Joe) Molnar; and grandchildren, Samantha and Brady Gross. Also surviving are his sisters, Sr. Carol Ann Gross, Paulette (Tom) Zwyer, and Janet (Roger) Ward; and brother Bill (Kathy) Gross.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Paul and Mary Jane Gross.

The family will receive friends Tuesday, February 28th from 2 to 8 p.m. at the Weigel Funeral Home, 204 Chestnut St. in Swanton (419.826.2631), where the Rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m.. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Wednesday, February 29th at 11:00 a.m. at Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Assumption, (2649 US 20, Swanton, OH 43558), with Fr. Ron Schock officiating. Interment will follow at St. Mary’s Cemetery.

The family suggests memorials to Sr. Carol Ann Gross for her missionary work in the Dominican Republic, MS Jam Foundation, or St. Mary Church on the Lake.
