Frances D. Albright, age 88, of Swanton, Ohio, passed away Sunday evening, April 11, 2010 at Kingston Residence of Sylvania. She was born April 6, 1922 in Jamestown, New York to Frank and Florence (Emley) Darling. She married Jesse Albright, and he preceded her in death on April 5, 1996.

Frances worked for LaSalle Department Store as a clerk, and worked as a cashier at Food Town for 10 years, before retiring in 1983. Frances was an avid artist and china painter, as well as a great golfer. She was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church in Swanton, 50-year member of OES Marie Chapter, Toledo Eagles Ladies Auxiliary, Wauseon Elks, and Holland VFW Post 3013 Ladies Auxiliary.

Left to cherish her memory are her children, Jesse J. (Arlene) Albright of Toledo, OH, Robert (Polly) Albright of Wauseon, OH, and Vicki (Robert) Stevens of Toledo, OH; 3 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.

Besides her husband, Jesse, Frances was preceded in death by her parents; brother, John Darling; and grandson, Stephen M. Albright.

Friends and family may visit Wednesday, April 14th from 2 to 8 p.m. at the Weigel Funeral Home in Swanton. Funeral services will be held Thursday, April 15th at 1:30 p.m. in the Funeral Home with Rev. Barbara Jean Pope officiating. Interment will follow at Swanton Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Trinity United Methodist Church or a charity of the donor’s choice.
