Evelyn G. Cramer, age 86, of Swanton, Ohio, passed away Monday morning, March 31, 2008 at Harborside Healthcare in Swanton. She was born January 30, 1922 in Cleveland, Ohio to the late Fred and Geraldine (Seng) Arend. On December 12, 1943, she married Paul E. Cramer. Paul was a U.S. Marine WWII veteran and Evelyn was a member of the WAVES during WWII. Paul preceded her in death on January 23, 1989. Also preceding her in death were her sisters, Edna Ruark and Hertha Minard.

Evelyn was a homemaker raising her five children. She fed the children well with her wonderful cooking. Evelyn also enjoyed gardening and feeding the birds.

She is survived by her children, James Cramer, Paul (Deborah) Cramer, William Cramer, Nancy Cramer and Patricia (Gary) Rhoades; grandchildren, James Cramer, Ashley Cramer and Todd Cramer, and sister, Patsy Briggs.

Services will be private.
