Ethel Mae Zenk, age 91, of Toledo, Ohio, entered into eternal rest, Sunday evening, September 28, 2008, at Hospice of Northwest Ohio in Toledo. She was born March 27, 1917 in Metamora, Ohio to the late George and Matilda (Burkett) Schwamberger. On March 27, 1937, she married Vincent Zenk. He preceded her in death on June 9, 1985.

Ethel was a faithful member of Marygrove Immaculate Conception Parish and its Rosary and Altar Society. She attended the Perrysburg Senior Center and enjoyed sewing and needlepoint.

She is survived by her daughter, Connie Zenk; grandson Michael (Cindy) Zenk; great-grandchildren, Michael Zenk, Jr. and Hannah Zenk and son, Joseph Zenk.

Besides her parents and her husband, Vincent, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Lester, Ivan and Roy Schwamberger and sister, Laura Simon.

Friends and family may visit Thursday, October 2nd from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at Marygrove Immaculate Conception Church, Raab Road, where a Mass of the Resurrection will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. Fr. Ron Schock will officiate. Interment will follow at Marygrove Cemetery.

Memorial Contributions may be made to Hospice of Northwest Ohio.
