Elizabeth "Betty" Jean Duden, age 84, of Swanton, Ohio, passed away Saturday afternoon, June 4, 2016, at Lake of Monclova. She was born August 29, 1931 in Toledo, Ohio to the late Walter and Phyllis (Gaylord) Williams. Betty was a graduate of Libbey High School, and February 25, 1950, she married James Stanley Duden. He preceded her in death on May 9, 2009.
Betty worked 15 years as an office manager at J.C. Penney and 10 years as a floral designer for Paul's Flowers in Swanton. Betty loved the outdoors, especially spending time at Oak Openings Metropark.
Betty will be greatly missed by her sons, Dennis (Claudia) Duden and Gary Duden (Sue); grandchildren, Amy Duden (Tim Musial), Bradley (Wendy) Duden and Michelle Perry; great-grandchildren, Magdelena Duden, and Emily, Molly and Zach Musial.
Besides her husband, James, Betty was preceded in death by her parents, and brother, William Williams.
Services for Betty will be private.
