Eleanore E. Argue

Eleanore E. Argue, age 83, of Jasper Michigan, died peacefully Tuesday afternoon, November 1, 2011 at Ebeid Hospice in Sylvania. She was born April 1, 1928 in Ogden Township to Homer and Irma (Bloom) Stevens. She was married on September 2, 1972 to John Argue, and he preceded her in death in 1989.

Eleanore was a retiree of Hoover Universal in Adrian, Michigan. She was a Past Regent of the Lucy Wolcott Barnum Chapter DAR in Adrian, a Past Matron of Fairfield Eastern Stars, and a member of Seneca Community Church.

She is survived by a sister, Rosemary Stambaugh of Columbiana, OH; stepson, Robert Sellers of Adrian, MI; stepdaughter, Wendy Power of Camarillo, CA; the Stambaugh family nieces and nephews, and the Knierim family nieces and nephews.

Friends and family may visit Friday, November 4th from 2 to 8 p.m. at the Weigel Funeral Home, 413 E. Main St. in Metamora (419.644.3601), where an Eastern Star service will be held at 7:00 p.m.. Funeral services will be held Saturday, November 5th at 10:30 a.m. in the funeral home with Pastor William Van Valkenburg officiating. Interment will follow at Amboy Township Cemetery.
