Edward J. Langenderfer, age 67, of Swanton, Ohio, entered into eternal rest, Thursday afternoon, August 5, 2010 at Ebeid Hospice Residence in Sylvania, Ohio. He was born February 22, 1943 in Swanton, Ohio to the late Stephen L. and Mary M. (Weidner) Langenderfer.

Edward was a lifetime farmer and member of Holy Trinity Catholic Parish in Assumption. He graduated from St. Mary’s School. He loved farming, raising a variety of animals, and was devoted to the Rosary.

He is survived by his two brothers, Robert S. (Donna) Langenderfer and Raymond J. (Beverly) Langenderfer; sister, Rose Mary (William) Hildreth; as well as ten nieces and nephews.

Friends and family may visit Sunday, August 8th from 2:30 to 8:30 p.m. at the Weigel Funeral Home in Metamora, Ohio, where the Rosary will be recited at 7:30 p.m. Prayers will begin in the funeral home Monday, August 9th at 10:00 a.m., followed by a Mass of Resurrection at 10:30 a.m. at Holy Trinity Catholic Church at Assumption. Fr. Ron Schock will officiate. Interment will follow at St. Mary’s Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Holy Trinity Church Improvement Fund.
