Edna May Fuller, age 95, of Swanton, Ohio, passed away Wednesday, June 1, 2011 at St. Luke’s Hospital. She was born July 15, 1915 in North Bloomfield, Ohio to the late Austin and Martha (Rex) Dunkerton. She married Robert Lee Fuller on October 2, 1935, and he preceded her in death on May 5, 1984. Edna worked in retail at Murphy’s in Swanton, was a homemaker, and did Home Health Care.

Edna was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church in Swanton and its Quilting Circle, Order of the Eastern Star-Marie Chapter, Daughters of Jeptha, Pythian Sisters-Faithful Temple 250, and the Fulton County Farm Bureau. She was very active in her church and enjoyed quilting and spending time with family and friends.

She is survived by her children, Robert E. (Dorothy) Fuller, Dorothy E. (Gordon) White, Marilyn J. (James) Krupa, and Richard C. Fuller; 9 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren; and 8 great-great-grandchildren.

Besides her husband, Robert, Edna was preceded in death by her parents; 2 sisters; and 2 brothers.

Friends and family may visit Saturday, June 4th from 4 to 8 p.m. at the Weigel Funeral Home in Swanton, where a Pythians service will be held at at 7:00 pm followed by an Eastern Star service. Visitation will continue Sunday, June 5th at Trinity United Methodist Church from 12:30 to 2:00 p.m., where funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., with Rev. Barbara Jean Pope officiating. Interment will follow at South Swanton Cemetery.
