Eddie L. Hunsinger

Eddie Lou Hunsinger, age 76, of Swanton, Ohio, passed away peacefully, Friday, April 11, 2014, at Hospice of Northwest Ohio in Toledo. Eddie was on born October 26, 1937 in Ardmore, Oklahoma to William and Eva Joe (Elderton) Powell. She married Vernon Hunsinger on May 31, 1977. Eddie retired from Sheller Globe as a executive secretary. She was a member of the Monclova Road Baptist Church, and enjoyed sewing, gardening, traveling, and most of all spending time with her grandchildren and her special friends from church.

Left to cherish Eddie's memory is her son, Michael (Shelley) Pawlowicz; grandchildren, Ryan (Marla) Pawlowicz, Dale (Erin) Pawlowicz, and Brittany (Gary) Ventimiglia; great-grandchildren, Reece, Blain, Macy, Lathan, and Carson Pawlowicz, and Evelyn and Audrey Ventimiglia.

Eddie was preceded in death by her parents and husband.

Family and friends may visit Monday, April 14th from 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Weigel Funeral Home, 204 Chestnut St. in Swanton (419.826.2631). Visitation will continue Tuesday, April 15th from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at Monclova Road Baptist Church, 7819 Monclova Road in Monclova, where funeral services will begin at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Russ Merrin officiating. Interment will follow at East Swanton Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be made to Monclova Road Baptist Church or Hospice of Northwest Ohio.
