Donald Herbert Reighard of Swanton, Ohio, passed away December 13, 2010 in his home, under the care of his family.

Born April 1,1918, Donald was the only child of Mattie (Rychener) and Versus Reighard. He married Oleta (Deck) on December 24,1960. Together, over their 50 years of marriage, they raised two daughters, and were blessed with nine grandchildren.

Donald served his country in the Navy as an aircraft mechanic instructor during World War II. After his service, he attended the University of Toledo. He was a dedicated long-time employee of Pilliod Cabinet Company where he served as company treasurer.

Donald is remembered by his loving family; his wife Oleta, daughter, Teresa (Howe) Mann and son-in-law Gary Mann, daughter Melanie (Reighard) Witt and son-in-law Dean Witt, grandchildren Alyssa and Jeremy Mann, Keegan, Makilah, Jadrien, Mattea (late) Uriah, Isaiah, and Ramah Witt.

Family and friends may visit Wednesday, December 15th from 12 (Noon) to 2:00 p.m. at the Weigel Funeral Home in Swanton. Graveside services, with Military Honors, will immediately follow the visitation at Dutch Ridge Cemetery with Pastor John Thybault officiating.
