Dolores K. (Judson-Pahl) Adams

Dolores K. Judson Pahl Adams of Swanton passed away peacefully Thursday, February 27, 2025. She was born April 26, 1932 in the family home on N. Main St. She was class valedictorian of Swanton High School class of 1950. After she married James B Pahl they raised 3 sons until his death at age 43. 

Dolores worked as a billing administrator for Dr Paul Cooley. She was also a bank teller at the Farmers and Merchants Deposit Company. On Sept 17, 1977 Dolores married Paul C Adams. They finished raising 8 children, then traveled for his job: living in Kenton & Lebanon OH and Conroe SC. After Paul’s retirement they lived in Montpelier and Springfield Twp OH. Her final 2 years were spent at Elizabeth Scott Community in Maumee. 

Throughout her life Dolores took joy in reading and playing the piano. She was preceded in death by husbands James B Pahl and Paul C Adams, son Richard M Pahl, and sister Ila Mae Maurer. She is survived by sons Tom ( Liz) Pahl and Mark A Pahl, brother Kent Judson, and many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. 

A celebration of life will be held at a later date, along with a private graveside service at St. Richard Cemetery, Swanton, OH.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Fulton County Humane Society.
