Diane Lynn Drennan, loving mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, entered through the gates of heaven, Saturday, March 23, 2013, at the age of 65. She was born December 31, 1947 in Toledo, Ohio to Harold and Eulalia (Degenfelder) Pinkelman. She graduated from Metamora, Class of 1965 and earned her Bachelor’s degree from Bluffton University. She was a longtime executive secretary to the Chairman of American Trim in Lima, Ohio and recently retired from Fred Ott, Inc.
Diane was a member of Holy Trinity Catholic Parish. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends – socializing on the Roadhouse patio, at the annual Put-in-Bay scavenger hunts, on ladies’ card nights and at Randy’s Sunday gatherings. She had a passion for administering the Laws of Life Scholarship Fund.
Diane will be remembered as a vibrant woman who always had a smile and kind words for anyone she met. She was charming and more beautiful in spirit than she realized and she made an amazing taco dip that was requested at every family event. She was devoted to her family, especially her grandson, Kyle. If anyone ever needed anything, she was there for them.
