Daniel Rains

Vistitation: Sunday, December 23rd from 12 (Noon) to 2:00 pm at the Weigel funeral Home in Swanton

Daniel M. Rains, age 29, of Holland, Ohio, died unexpectedly, Tuesday, December 18, 2012 in his home. He was born April 5, 1983 in Toledo, Ohio to Danny and Pam (Wilson) Rains. Daniel worked for Hi-Tech Mechanical as an HVAC Technician. He was an avid outdoorsman and charter member of Amazing Grace Baptist Church.

Left to cherish his memory are his loving parents, Danny and Pam Rains; sister, Shanon Litton; niece, Alyssa Litton; nephew, Jason Litton II; grandparents, Nancy Wilson, Ronald (Carol) Wilson, Ella Rains; he is also survived by Shelley Hinton “Rains”, unborn baby Charlie Rains, Haley Claffey, and several, aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Daniel was preceded in death by his brother-in-law, Jason Litton, and grandfather, Roy Rains.

Family and friends may visit Sunday, December 23rd from 12 (noon) to 2 p.m. at the Weigel Funeral Home, 204 Chestnut St. in Swanton (419.826.2631). , where a funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. with Pastor Ken Garland officiating. Interment will follow at Greenlawn Cemetery in Delta.
