Dale James Evearitt

Dale James Evearitt, age 83, of Swanton, Ohio, passed away Thursday morning, October 9, 2014 at the Swanton Valley Care Center, where he has resided for the past week. He was born October 7, 1931 in Toledo, Ohio, and worked for a stamping plant in Detroit for over 20 years.

Dale was an accomplished leather artisan. He made several beautiful wallets and belts out of leather, and would turn around and sell them or give them away to his family as gifts. He also was an avid Detroit Lions and Ohio State Football Fan. His favorite pastime was shooting pool.

Dale is survived by three sons and one daughter; stepson, Jason (Heather) Kwapich; stepdaughter, Keri Kwapich; and 4 grandchildren, Tyler, Madison, Arabella and Kennedy.

Services will be private.

Memorial contributions in Dale's memory may be made to the American Cancer Society.
