Clara Faye Butler-Logue, age 71, of Swanton, Ohio, passed away Saturday, January 12, 2008 at Defiance Inpatient Hospice. She was born November 5, 1936 in Hartville, Missouri to Glenn and Olive (Roberts) Moore. She married Daniel Butler and they divorced. She married Dr. Francis Logue, and he preceded her death. Clara was also preceded in death by her father, Glenn Moore.

Clara worked as a restaurant manager for the Chalet Restaurant in Sylvania. She will be remembered as a great woman who never gave up the fight – right to the very end!

Let us sum up our mom; known to us as “Maude”: “Her Kids – Her Life”. Clara is survived by her mother, Olive Moore; children, Debbie (Dean) Christie, Eddie (Sandy) Butler, Marie (Rick) Ranville and Paul Butler; 14 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren. She also had 2 sisters and 5 brothers.

A memorial gathering will be held Tuesday, January 15th from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Weigel Funeral Home in Swanton (419-826-2631). A memorial service will begin at 7:00 pm. Interment will be private.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to the family.
