Casey Robert Sharples

Casey Robert Sharples, of Swanton, Ohio was born March 24, 1981 to Dennis and Roberta (Keefe) Sharples. He was taken from us all too soon on November 10, 2012.

Casey overcame many obstacles in his life and had more heart and zest for life than ten people. He was a kid at heart and will be most remembered for his crazy sense of humor. He cared deeply about taking care of people and earned the trust and respect of many through his tree trimming business. His agility while maneuvering high into trees with a chainsaw (even though he was afraid of heights) was amazing. Family and friends were very important to him and he would have laid down his life trying to help any one of them. Some of his hobbies included; off-roading, fishing, hunting, camping, cook-outs (especially if there was watermelon involved), tinkering around the shop, and just having a good time.

He is survived by his parents, Dennis and Roberta; daughter, Chloe, fiancé, Christina Hilton and her son, Andrew Mock. His loss is also deeply felt by sister, Kelly (Brad) Parkhurst; brother, Benjamin Sharples (Carys Fitzgerald, Emma Sharples, Averie Stultz); maternal grandparents, Ralph (Dorothy) Keefe; paternal grandmother, Dorothea Sharples; and an army of aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends who will never forget his laugh or smiling face.

Casey was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Bruce Sharples, his

paternal grandmother, Marjorie Sharples, and his maternal grandmother, Beatrice

Keefe.

Visitation will be on Wednesday November 14th, from 6-7 pm with a memorial service at 7:00 pm, at Weigel Funeral Home, 204 Chestnut St. in Swanton, with Rev. Donna Stutzman officiating. Interment will be set at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the family.
