Carolyn Pupos

J. Carolyn Pupos, age 79, of Toledo, Ohio, passed on to heaven Monday, April 16, 2018 at The Franciscan Care Center surrounded by her loving family.  She was born December 7, 1938 in Leonard, Texas to the late Leon Ballard and Winnie (Broyles) Carr.  She fought the progressive disease of dementia and Alzheimer's.  Carolyn worked for 25 years retiring from MCO as a secretary.  She loved gardening and bird watching.

She will be greatly missed by her children, Kathryn Pupos, Ramona Pupos, Sherry Witt, and Kenton Puppos; She was blessed with 5 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren; and sister, Sarah Aline Cook.

Visitation will be held Wednesday, May 9, 2018  from 10 to 11 a.m. at the Weigel Funeral Home in Metamora, 413 E. Main Street (419.644.3601) where services celebrating her life will begin at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Kevin Maxey officiating.  Interment will follow at Amboy Township Cemetery.

The family would like to give an extra special thanks to the nurses and staff at the Franciscan Care Center and Hospice of Northwest Ohio for the loving care they gave to Carolyn.
