Carol Lynn Jason

Carol Lynn Jason, age 68, of Erie, Michigan, and formerly of Swanton, Ohio, died Wednesday, February 12, 2014 at Arbors of Sylvania. She was born November 16, 1945 in Allen Park, Michigan, to Melvin and Rose Marie (Kaiser) Daly. Prior to her husband, James going to serve in Vietnam, they were married February 28, 1965. She was a bus driver "Bus #20" for the Swanton Local School District for several years, retiring in 2009. Carol loved going out to eat with the girls, crocheting, knitting, and was an avid reader.

Carol is survived by her loving husband of 49 years, James Edward Jason; brother, William "Bill" Daly; other relation, Jerry and Sue Gest; and close school friends, Diane and Norm.

Friends and family may visit Thursday, February 20th from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the Weigel Funeral Home, 204 Chestnut St. in Swanton (419.826.2631), where a memorial service will begin at 7:00 p.m. with Fr. Jaroslaw Nowak officiating. Interment will be held at a later date.
