Brian R. Ueberroth

Brian R. Ueberroth, age 41, of Swanton, Ohio, a loving son, father, and brother, entered into Heaven and into the arms of his Heavenly Father, Friday evening, February 27, 2015. Brian was born August 13, 1973 in Toledo, Ohio, to his loving parents, Richard and Carole (Bencze) Ueberroth. He was a 1991 graduate of Swanton High School, and obtained his Bachelor's of Education degree from the University of Toledo in 1998.

Brian worked as a sleep technician for Mercy Health Systems on Woodley Avenue in Toledo, and also worked on a contingent schedule at Promedica St. Luke's and Flower Hospitals. Brian was a die-hard Dallas Cowboys, New York Yankees, and Philadelphia Flyers sports fan, who also enjoyed golfing and fishing. He was a member of the Masonic Fulton Lodge #248, Swanton Elks, and past member of the Delta Eagles.

Brian will be greatly missed by his parents, Rick and Carole Ueberroth; his sons, Brock and Caden; brothers, Brad and Chuck; sister, Christa Bushby; mother of his sons; Andrea Westmeyer; uncle, Tim Ueberroth; nephew, David Ueberroth; niece, Keegan Bushby; several cousins; and his great aunt, Matilda Sofalvi.

Brian was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Mildred and Harold Ueberroth and maternal grandparents, Lucille and Andrew Bencze.

Family and friends may visit Thursday, March 5th from 2:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the Weigel Funeral Home, 204 Chestnut St. in Swanton (419.826.2631), where a Masonic Service will begin at 7:00 p.m., followed by an Elks Service, and conclude with a Vigil Service with recitation of the Rosary. Visitation will continue Friday, March 6th, from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at St. Richard’s Catholic Church, where a Mass of Resurrection will begin at 11:00 a.m. with Fr. Adam Hertzfeld presiding and Deacon Jerry Ziemkiewicz assisting. Interment will follow at St. Richard’s Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be directed to the family.
