Bradley Clay Mock, age 63, of Delta, Ohio, passed away peacefully after a brief battle with lung cancer at the Swanton Valley Nursing Home on Thursday, January 18, 2024. He was the son of Jerry Allen Mock (deceased) and Patricia Ann Davis Floro.
Brad grew up in Ohio and after graduating from Four County and Liberty Center High School he worked at various jobs, eventually moving to Idaho to find work. There he met and married his wife of 40 years Bonnie Rae Phillips in 1983. Together they had four children, Joseph Wayne (Amy Jo) Mock, Benjamin Dale (Nicole) Mock, Jerry Clay Mock, Kathrine Irene (Joshua) Duncan.
Brad moved his family back to Ohio in 1988 in order to work with his father Jerry in the well drilling business. In 2000 Brad bought the business from his father and successfully ran it until November 14 2023 when the cancer went to his bones and paralyzed him. Brad was the sole proprietor of Mock’s Well Drilling and was best known for his gruff honesty and no nonsense approach to life.
He is survived by his mother Patricia Floro, his wife Bonnie Rae Mock and their children and grandchildren, Corey, Britty, Charlie, Hailey, Chance, Scarlett, Kallie, Conner, Logan ‘Wolfy’, Damien, Donnie and Denver. Great grands Lily, Annabelle, Jack and Jackson. In addition to his siblings Brenda Mock Wyman, Boyd (Sharon) Mock and Christine (William) Tingstrom there are numerous Aunts, Uncles, nieces and nephews. He will be deeply missed by his family and friends. Especially friends Ryan and Amanda Smith and family.
