Bonnie Lee Helen Kitzman, age 75, of Swanton, Ohio, passed away Tuesday evening, October 25, 2016 at Hospice of Northwest Ohio in Toledo. Bonnie was born on February 8, 1941 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin to Raymond Valentine and Evelyn Anna (Krause) Miller. She graduated from South Milwaukee High School and on June 27, 1959 she married Bernard F. Kitzman.
Bonnie was a homemaker and was a faithful member of Resurrection Lutheran Church in Maumee, Ohio. She loved caring for her horses and cleaning up after them. She also loved gardening and canning. Most of all she loved spending time with her family, especially taking care of her grandchildren.
Bonnie will be greatly missed by her husband, Bernard; children, Tamara (Ken) Schwartz, Thomas Kitzman and Susan Ohneck; 6 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren; and sister, Sandra (Robert) Blodgett. She is preceded in death by her parents and brother, Donald Miller.
Family and friends may visit Friday, October 28 from 4 to 8 p.m., at the Weigel Funeral Home, 204 Chestnut St. in Swanton (419.826.2631). Funeral Services will be held Saturday, October 29, 2016 at Resurrection Lutheran Church, 2250 S. Holland-Sylvania Rd., Maumee, OH, at 10:00 a.m., with Pastor Timothy Nass officiating. Burial will follow at Swanton Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to Resurrection Lutheran Church.
